A philology term. In classical scholarship 重文 specifically refers to alternate written forms of the same character listed in lexicons like 《说文解字》. Read 重 here as chóng ('again/repeated'), not zhòng ('heavy').
mistakes
Don't confuse with 重文 (zhòngwén, 'to value literature') as in the four-character phrase 重文轻武 ('value letters, slight arms') — same characters, different reading and meaning.
