Literary / classical-novel feel — common in 水浒传 (Water Margin) and 三国演义 (Three Kingdoms). Modern conversation uses 这家伙 (zhè jiāhuo) for 'this guy', or 这小子 for a similar contemptuous nuance.
history
厮 was a Song-Yuan era word for a male servant or low-status man; combined with 这, it became the standard contemptuous 'this guy' of vernacular fiction. Now archaic, but you'll see it any time someone is imitating that period style.
