米仁 is a regional Wu-area (Shanghai/Jiangsu/Zhejiang) name for what is more widely called 薏仁 or 薏米. In Chinese cooking and TCM it is considered a 祛湿 grain and is commonly added to congees, soups, and desserts like 红豆薏米水.
