Founded 1996 in Cixi, Ningbo by Mao Lixiang and son Mao Zhongqun. Named after the son's wife 'Fang Tai' (太 = 太太 Mrs.). Made its name dominating the Chinese range-hood market before expanding into steam ovens and dishwashers.
