usage
Two clearly different uses: (1) on its own, 打主意 = 'come up with an idea'; (2) with 在 + person/thing + 的主意, 'to have designs on X' — almost always negative (greed, theft, romantic predation). Note: 主意 here is pronounced zhǔyi (neutral tone on 意).
