usage

中 here is read zhòng (4th tone), not zhōng — it means 'to hit / suit', as in 中意 (zhòngyì, to suit one's taste). Compare 看中 (kànzhòng, to take a fancy to) and 命中 (mìngzhòng, to hit a target).

mistakes

Don't confuse 不中意 with 不在意 (búzàiyì, not care). 不中意 means 'I don't like it'; 不在意 means 'I don't mind / don't care'.
