Wealth and rank gained by unrighteousness, to me, are like floating clouds.' A canonical Confucian expression of principled indifference to ill-gotten gain.
usage
于 here is a classical preposition (= 对). Modern internet-speak also adapted the phrase playfully (e.g. 一切都是浮云 — 'it's all just clouds'), but the classical original is pointedly about unrighteous wealth.
